| I would suggest that you take airport shuttle no.7 (20 RMB/pax) or a taxi (probably around 160 RMB depending on traffic conditions) to Shanghai South train station, then train N477 (2325--0139) or train N427 (2350--0148). Note that N477 arrives at Hangzhou main train station, N427 arrives at Hangzhou East train station. |

GUESTDAKAI | Thanks a lot, appreciate it! Are those trains the last ones to leave for HZ? I'm just wondering in case I get delayed. BTW I'm arriving on Dec 18th. |

| Yes, those are the last for the day. The next train leaves at 0504 the next day. Otherwise, you'll have to change direction and go to Shanghai main train station instead. There're trains departing from there at 0028 and 0349. |

| There's a direct bus from Pudong airport to Hangzhou at 0930, which should take around 3 hours to reach downtown Hangzhou. From there you could catch another taxi to Hangzhou airport. Very rushed though. Or, perhaps better, take a taxi to Shanghai South train station (around 1 hour journey time) and try to catch a fast train to Hangzhou, then a taxi from there to the airport. Hangzhou East train station is closer to Hangzhou airport. Shanghai South -- Hangzhou: D657 (0930--1048) Shanghai South -- Hangzhou East: K511 (0950--1141) / 2135 (1000--1217, this is a slow train) / T769 (1105--1232) |

| There's a departure to Huanglong (Yellow Dragon) Stadium at 1730. Not sure about departure at 1610 to anywhere in Hangzhou. Where on West Lake are you going to? |

| To a hotel near the Bund, depending on traffic conditions you should take Lupu Bridge IIRC. Not every taxi driver will know his way around Hangzhou. Better to arrange for a transfer beforehand -- email me if you need it, yahoo.com|ellyse99 and put "TravelChinaGuide" in the subject line. |
