Do you often chatter, ladies? I know that men don't like to hear their wives chattering all day long. Some men say that they will get bored if their wives continue to chatter. This time, men should stop their complaints. A research says that chattering can improve one's memory and lengthen one's life expectency. Perhaps, men should learn to chatter too in order to live longer, hehe.

By the way, I am curious about how you deal with your husband if he get bored with your chattering. Anyone would like to say something?

If you read books about this subject they tell that women need to talk more words every day than men, I think if I remember women get through about 60,000 words a day while men do about 20,000. Women can also have multiple conversations, 4 women together will all talk at the same time but if its men they take it in turns to speak.
As men we just have to accept that women never shut up, or at least it just feels like it.

Women are more social and need interaction, so they will 'chatter' more. It has never bothered me - just as well as I chatter as much as women :)

To be honest, I would have got bored if my girlfriend chattered too much. In the countryside, women like sitting together and chattering, to be specific, gossiping. I don't like the women who prefer to gossip about other people.

Funny. At work, the loudest talker is a guy, so much so that I have to close my door so that I could concentrate on what it was I was doing. I don't have to see him to know he is around. He’s also on the phone every time I have to see him to ask about something. During meetings, it is the men who like to hog the floor and talk, most of the time with no new substance added. And I was sitting there thinking, what on earth is he doing?

I don’t care who won the last game so I don’t even participate in sports conversations. I don’t talk politics and economy either. Of course, my female co-workers talk too, but I noticed that they like talking about their children, everyday.

Men and women equally chatter about stuff that interests them. Maybe I chatter too, but only if the subject matter interests me. If so, I am just like everyone else.

SHESGOTTOBE, that guy shouldn't be a man. Seriously, I don't like those boys who speak too much. It seems to me that they are dishonest and unreliable.

Just goes to show that chattering is not just a woman 'trait'. I always observe the gatherings at the water cooler and copier area.
