You can try your luck in Citic Plaza (ZhongXin) building, in it's shopping mall (separate building) on 2nd (or was it 3rd) floor I remember they had some travel agency with person or two who were able to speak English (last year when I visited)... Or you can check travel agencies in any 4* or 5* hotel should be useful too...

Cheers,

Ellyse, would you be able to recommend any other travel agents in Guangzhou?
I have contacted Jacky and he has supplied a quote but he can't supply a tourist card that is required
for the trip.

I'm hoping that another travel agent can do this.

Thanks.

Hi Ellyse,

I'm sorry I should have explained. I was looking into a ticket from China to Cuba and Cuba requires every visitor to complete a tourist card before they can enter the country. For most western countries, this card is provided by travel agents or the airlines.

Since I posted on July 2 I have learned that Chinese nationals must buy the card through one of the Cuban Consulates in China.
Without the card they can not board their flight out of the country.

What's a tourist card? What do you need it for? Have never heard of such a thing here!

This could be a special requirement unique to the Cubans. Anyway there is a saying in China, if the problem can be solved by money, it's not a problem at all.
