Yes, there are 19 D-trains traveling from Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station to Tāizhou(台州) and one train T7786/7787 from Shanghai South Railway station to Tàizhou (泰州).

The fastest way is to take the plane. Unfortunately, it leaves at 07:40 in the morning. So you may consider taking D trains from Hongqiao Railway Station.

From Pudong Airport to Hongqiao railway station, you can take subway line 2 and it takes more than 1.5 hours. If you carry luggage and want to save time, you may take airport shuttle bus line 1 (around 1 hour) to Hongqiao Airport and then take subway line 10 (CNY 4) to Hongqiao Railway Station (just one stop). Or you can catch a taxi (CNY 12-16) to Hongqiao Railway Station.

GUESTDE thanks for info.

I heard about some restrictions regarding buying tickets for the D-train in advance, like passport number is needed. I buying of the ticket possible just before entering the train? Is understanding of Chinese language needed? Or do I need a traveling agency for that?

As we are on business trip, we don't want to spend to much time on railway stations.

Hey, I think you can have someone knowing Chinese written the detailed info about the tickets your are going to buy in advance and then pass it to the staff when buying the ticket. In this case, you won't meet any problem. Yes, your passports will be needed to get the tickets. If you still worry about it, maybe you can book ticket here: http://www.travelchinaguide.com/china-trains/

Are you sure you give the right names of the places? I didn't find Qinggang and Yuhan County. Wezhou should be Wenzhou, right?
