With Torres' goal, Spain beat Germany 1 to 0, winning the champions of Euros after 44 years. As far as I know, Spain is a strong team in Europe. However, it seems that the God of victory seldom stand on their side. No matter in World Cup or Euro Championships, they haven't made great achievements before. Carlos, if you watch Spanish league, you won't say Torres was from nobody to somebody in two seconds. He is really a good footballers. You see, Raul is famed as the flag of Spanish football. Torres is considered to be the successor of Raul. This is the reason why he has been included in Spanish national football team. It is a pity that Raul has failed to join the national football team this time. He has done a good job at Real this season. However, it seems that the coach is too stubborn. He wants to prove that Spain can also make a success without Raul. Luckily, he succeeded. I guess that Spanish people will scold him if Spain was kicked out early at 2008 Euros. In this case, they will remember Raul.
