| GUEST14599 | Largest mosque at Futian or Shenzhen is known as Mei Lin Mosque,located opposite Mei Lin Lu Police Station at Mei Lin Road. Mosque is crowded only for Friday Prayers and on other Islamic festive celebrations and quite for the rest of the days. I glad to meet the Imam, a local Chinese who speaks Pu Tong Hua, by the name of Imam Muhammad Ali. If you are in Shenzhen or Futian, and need directions to this mosque, do contact the Imam at local his handphone at 1360 3063 040. Friday prayers khutbah in dual language -local and arabic. There are Islamic lesson for the muslim children in the same building conducted by the Ustaz. Few halal meats shops just next to the mosque. Meet many few Indonesians / Malaysians/ Singaporean and foreign guests stays at Asta Hotel Shenzhen at Fumin Road. Apparently hotel have Malaysian / Singaporean Management Staff and multi lingual staff , that helps us a lot during our visits there , in particular with the language and culture barrier. The Chef prepared for us halal and pork free foods and arrange for our group a shuttle to the mosque at Mei Lin Rd. |

| The nearest would be Muslim Hotel. You can ask the taxi driver to send you to Musilim bin guan (Wenjin Nan Lu). Later after knowing the place you can commute by bus and stop at Jeng ping dasha for RMB2 and walk about 200 metres. Taxi is about RMB12 Wan |
