Married to Chinese National...visa issues

GUEST43196 It seems like marrying a Chinese national will give you no visa benefits or any worthwhile privileges. I think with the spousal visa, you can stay for maybe one year. Or you can just get an L visa or tourist visa without being married and that L visa can last for up to ten years (Just click the other option, or check the other option in the visa application and write 10 year visa. ), but you have to leave China every 60 days. They might give you a green card after five years, but you have to work legally in China for those five years and have a residency permit. Probably the best option, or the best legal option, would be to have a degree in any field, get a TEFL certificate and teach English legally in China. After five years of doing this while being married to your Chinese national spouse, they should give you a green card, but that's a big maybe. Maybe they'll give you a green card, maybe they won't. But so far, this seems like the best legal option, unfortunately. 😬
