GUEST85242 Ok I got exclusive with a "Just friend' I knew for 13 years...Yesss....All these years he had a gf...we always kept in touch until I flied to a different country. 3 years back I saw him after 4 years and really liked him. But he did not keep in touch....in the last 2 years he insisted me to go to visit him and I finally did. It was all good except for 1 thing...He said he is afraid of commitment...we decided to have exclusive friendship but visit every 4 - 6 months.
After the second visit he changed...I felt this long distance relationship is not going anywhere. Once time when he was acting weird, asked him about it and he said he does not feel comfortable with me to tell me his problems and has 10 people is taking care of their issues...That time I also told him I felt the same and why not keeping our friendship just as friends. He said OK. But he did not give up....Texted again and again...Miss you...and stuff. In his last text asked me why I don't say hellp to him any more....And I said I was just busy..
Truth: No energy to fight again...We broke up for God's sake...So what was all this...?
He continued by dragged me in to Facebook pokes, likes on web links and I am totally confused now.
Sometimes I wish there was nothing called love. Logic tells me he is not good for me...we are totally different and he acts so suspicious.
Love of course there is no logic in love....
Question: I am also wondering what to do and how can I stop myself from thinking about him and LIVE my own life?

This is the unfortunate truth, it can work depending on how shallow the relationship was but I'm afraid for something where both of them were and maybe still are in love... I don't think it comes down to hate but when you see your future with someone... No matter what it's going to kill you to see them living your future with someone else
