Hong Kong -- MTR to Lo Wu border, walk across -- Shenzhen -- train -- Guangzhou -- bus -- Macau -- ferry -- Hong Kong. This way you'll only need a single-entry visa.
Otherwise, if you do Guangzhou and Shenzhen as separate day trips from Hong Kong or Macau, you'll need at least a double-entry visa.

Would appreciate your guide as i'd like to travel to zhuhai, macau, hong kong and shenzhen. However my arrival and departure flight are both in macau. Any suggestion of how should i go about the route?

Hi there, my trip schedule will be HK airport-Guangzhou-Shenzhen-HK airport. Is train always the best solution here or not? And on which websites should I look for schedules and prices? Many thanks in advance. Jan.

There're direct buses for Hong Kong airport -- Guangzhou, and Shenzhen -- Hong Kong airport. Look on http://www.hongkongairport.com/CBT/Controller?locale=eng for more details.
For Guangzhou -- Shenzhen you should take the train. Plenty of trains daily, so just turn up and get a ticket. No need to buy in advance.

GUESTMIA We will be arriving in macau this thursday night. We want to go to shenzhen after a day of tour in the city of macau. How soon will the visa be issued upon application?
And wherelse do you suggest we'd go to after shenzhen? We've been to hk already on our last trip.So we're thinking of another place in china close to macau.
Where can we get package daytime-tours going to shenzhen or elsewhere?
