The theme song for the 29th Beijing Olympic Games was performed by Chinese singer Liu Huan and British soprano Sarah Brightman. What do you think of their performance? What about the lyrics? Was it too simple? The following is the lyrics:
Compared with the 1988 Seul Olympic Theme Song <Hand In Hand>, how do you feel about the theme song <You And Me>?

You and me
From one world
Heart to heart
We are one family
For dreams we travel
Thousands of miles

We meet in Beijing
Come together
The joy we share
You and me

From one world
Forever we are one family

If this is any indication...I've already forgotten it.

Besides not having much of a catchy tune, I was too focused on the incredibly cool globe with people walking all around!

GUEST08230 It is difficult to understand the lyrics sung by Sarah Brightman. I think it is unpopular.

No, the background music that is played during victory ceremony is 茉莉花 (Jasmine), a Chinese folk song originated from Jiangsu Province.
