I have not eaten in KFC in China but I have eaten in various McDonalds there. Different count for an order of chicken nuggets. Different sauce too. I like both.

KFC chicken in the USA is too slimy, I don't eat KFC in the USA, but I do in China....

But let's be honest, KFC is shit wherever you are. You just get a more genuine smile from the server in China.

What smile? To be honest, I felt that the counter clerk was in a hurry to get rid of me. Man, am I that bad? O_o

So they don't even do those cringing "have a nice day" smiles in the US anymore? Moral must be low.

Kentucky Fried Chicken in China is a little bit more McDonalds in that In China most eat in the restaurant and they order individual meals. The KFC's I have visited here in the U.S. have tables for dining in but most often the customers take the food home to eat. Many people order a whole family's meal - a cardboard bucket of chicken, a cardboard box of biscuits, plastic tubs of mashed potatoes and Gravy, coleslaw or a box of big French fried potatoes. The chicken can be regular style, extra crispy of barbecue. Some ask for all dark meat or all white meat. They have sandwiches but they are probably more popular at lunch time. An anecdote: A few months ago, we were out shopping and decided to bring KFC home rather than cook. At home, when my Chinese mother in law saw us unpacking the meal she was excited and asked what the special occasion was!
