![]() | Hi all. Just to get away from the Olympics for just a moment. I am pleased to report my team Bristol Rovers won yesterday 6-1 against Hereford, I have just about got over the shock! he he OK Hereford are the bottom team but it was our first win of the season, so thats won 1, lost 1, drawn 1 so far, onwards and upwards hopefully. It's a pity I was unable to attend the match as I was working again, no peace for the wicked, he he Alan |

![]() | The game that real men play Alan. No sneaky shirt pulling, no crying, no falling over if someone gets within a couple of feet, no swearing at the Ref, no fights in the crowd. And all together now: “If I was the marrying kind, and thank the Lord I’m not Sir, the kind of man that I would marry would be a Rugby hooker, he’d hook the ball?….censored. Rugby, the game they play in heaven. Dodger. |

![]() | I take your point Dodger, I'm ashamed of some of these overpaid footballers and the antics they get up to. Having said that I'm glad I didn't make the grade at rugby, I wouldn't fancy having cauliflower ears, it was bad enough breaking my nose in the very first tackle I made, I went in low the next time. As for the fighting in the crowds at football, it doesn't happen much these days, my skinhead days are long gone, I had to get my hair cut back then, now I haven't got hardly any, he he Alan |
