It stops runing at 2300. I'm afraid you will miss it. Also, the last inter-city train from Beijing south Railway station to Tianjin deperts at 2330. It seems you'll miss it too. Maybe you could stay overnight in Beijing and go to Tianjin the next morning.

GUEST65186 My flight to Beijing arrives at 9:30pm..will I still have enough time to catch the shuttle to Tianjin? Can I still get tickets on spot? It's on the 7th of May, still around the public holiday period which I heard will be really packed.. Or will I have enough time to get to South Beijing railway station to catch the bullet train? If i manage to get hold of the 11:50pm train ticket, can I reach there in time by taxi? thanks in advance

The last airport shuttle bus from Beijing to Tianjin departs at 22:00. I am not sure if you can catch it. You can make it if you take a taxi to South Railway Station. It costs CNY 100-150 and takes around 40-50 minutes.

I am afraid you can't take a taxi in group of 6 people. Usually a taxi can accommodate 4 people.
