People are quick to trivialize an election (i.e. "who cares?"), and yet just as quick to point the finger when something in the global economy goes awry, such as this financial crisis we are in the midst of now. Whether you love America or hate America, its elections unfortunately matter.

I just can't wait until December when I can finally get online and find actual news as opposed to "election coverage".
