GUESTBORNIN80S I'm Nigerian and residing in Malaysia. My interest is in traveling. I have traveled few Asian countries including China while i was a student. Now I'm working in Malaysia and intend to travel to China after returning from Japan as I enjoyed my last trip to Guangzhou and Guangxi.
To my surprise, I was denied a visa even after providing all the documents for visa requirement. Well they requested for "Visa notification form" which i didn't know about.
Well on my first visa, i was invited by a friend who now resides in Australia, hence, i didn't have to provide any Visa notification form. Even when i ask the customer services agents how to go about the VSF, they kept tossing me here and there.
As i tried to google infor. regarding VSF, i bumped into this site.
I do like to ask, do i still need this VSF even thou i am traveling for the sake of tourism? and what's the best way to go about it?
My leave begins 26th May - 1st June 2012 and I intend to visit Shenzhen and probably Macau. I will appreciate any valid information.
Please do well to email me on yahoo.co.uk|fx2smog
Many thanks in advance

You need to go to the Consular Section to enquire. Secondly, it's their prerogative to accept or reject.
