Travelling from Hong Kong to Foshan, best method?

guestFirstt Timer	I am travelling to Foshan in December. This is my first trip to China. I arrive in Hong Kong and I need to find my way to Foshan on my own to attend a friends wedding. What I need to know is, which method of transport is the easiest and quickest from HK airport. If there is a direct bus or ferry that would be the best, but if there isn't, I presume I will have to travel to Central Hong Kong then first. I look forward to your response. As a first timer to China, any travel tips? I hear lots of stories of counterfeit money being exchanged etc. Thank you.

ELLYSE Points: Join Date: Oct 30, 2005 Status: Offline	Easiest might be the direct bus from Hong Kong airport. These are run by 2 separate companies, GoGoBus and CTS. Departures roughly every hour or less from 0705 to 1955. What time is your flight arriving?

I tried to go to GoGoBus and CTS webs but they are all in chinese instead of English. Please help. My flight will arrive HK Airport at 15.55pm on Sunday.

ELLYSE Points: Join Date: Oct 30, 2005 Status: Offline	GoGoBus departures at 1615, 1645 and 1845; fare 220 HKD. CTS departures at 1730, 1755, 1830 and 1855; fare 270 HKD. Journey time is 3.5 hours.

Is that Huaxia New Zhongyuan Hotel? That looks like it's quite far from town.
There're direct buses (run by GoGoBus) from Hong Kong airport to Foshan. The relevant departure times for you would be 1245, 1445, 1615 and 1645. These cost 220 HKD per person and go by Shenzhen Bay border crossing. Alight at Chancheng Hotel and then take 2 taxis to your hotel, since you have 5 people. It's about 15 km further to your hotel.
