As you say you can not afford to buy the movies, so downloading illegally is the only option.
Does that mean that poor people who dont have a car have the righ to go and take one? or if you dont have a tv to go and help yourself?
Being poor is not an excuse to break the law.

GUEST22560 I just moved to Beijing and recently picked up How to Marry a Millionaire, Dial M for Murder, Roman Holiday, Gone with the Wind and several other old movies at Wu-Mart. I'm assuming it is a pretty popular chain store in China. They have a whole section of old movies for less than 6 rmb each.

Davec, you know what? When I tried to stop downloading free movies on the internet and get some, I got some fake one in a shop which seems to be a standard one. I guess that's China....

Some of the movies I have bought have not even been released at the Movie theaters at the time.
I have no idea how the pirate get hold of copies.
