Just thought I would share some great news with all of you who have supported me and my photography.

This weekend I had a request for 20 photos, 10 each for 2 new restaurants who want my photos to display on their walls.

When I get the full details I can let you know and then if you are passing by you can pop in to see the. All I know at the moment is that they are in Kunming, Yunnan.

Dave, where are the restaurant located and how do you manage the marketing. My cusine's husband- a deutchen guy- just took photos in Xi An and went back to Germany to sell them. I am just wondering how a professional photographer - an artist make a living.

The restaurants are in Kunming, Yunnan province. They have been arranged through a friend I met online some time ago. She enjoyed the photos on my website and when they needed decor for the restaurant, owned by her friends, she suggested they use some of my photos.

I don't intend to upset you Dave. Your photos are first-class, but I doubt its selling margin. However, this web of high-quality with excellent columnists does provide numurous biz opportunities.

Congrats, Dave. Your photos definitely deserve to be hung on walls.

There's a ton of restaurants around Xinjiang here that need a face-lift - I'd recommend your photos but I don't think they have one single yuan set aside for decorating in the budget!
