The campus belle, the queen of the school or college, whatever, who is the most beautiful girl in her school or college. Why? Because she has attracted almost all boys' attention. Whenever, there is a bunch of boys who are courting her. No wonder all other girls don't like her, the queen of the school. She is the enemy to all the other girls. Girls, do you dislike the "Campus belle" in your school or college?

I had to think seriously to answer this. I don't even remember that we had a "campus belle". In my high school, the way to popularity is if you are in the top ten of your year level. You have to top exam scores and be engaged in club activities. If you are an officer in club/clubs, the better. If you are one of the officers in high school military training, the better. If you are a top player in basketball or other sports, the better. If you won an award for your school in quiz bees, math competitions and science fairs, the better. Your name will be plastered all over the campus. Everybody will know you. Everybody will congratulate you. Extra-curricular activities are also graded as if it is another subject.

In college, I never paid attention if there was a "campus belle" because I took on extra units because I was so eager to graduate. In the first place, I wouldn't be paying attention to the "campus belle, I would be looking for the "campus prince". :P

Girls are attracted to handsome boys and boys are attracted to beautiful girls. If you ask me who was the 'Campus Bell' in my college, I have no answer. But I do know who was the most handsome boy on campus.
