I stay in Shenyang for study. I am Thai and I want to cook Thai food for my friends but it is very difficult to find lemongrass in Shenyang. Anyone can help me???? If I can find it, I will show my own Thai recipe to you. Thanks Oto

You'd be lucky to find any living plants in Shenyang! Seriously, it is likely to be difficult as lemongrass is tropical and Shenyang most definitely isn't and there is little Chinese cooking Iam aware of that uses any form of lemon. It is not even easy to get lemons.

Thanks for your post. For lemons I think it is not difficult to find, I can find in Carrefour, walmart or Tesco.

Abundant of lemongrass in southern parts of China, such as GZ. Naioto, you find any kaffir lime leaves? Do you know when I was in China for the first time, I asked my friend to send to me via DHL for dried lemongrass, dried kaffir lime leaves. For kaffir lime juice can be substituted with lime juice, so no problem. Happy cooking. Wan
