 | Today French magazine France Football said on its website that Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo had been voted as the European Footballer of the year. Well done, C. Ronaldo! Congratulations to him! Although the awarding ceremony will be held on Dec. 7, the France Football editors can't wait that long. Yesterday, they came to C. Ronaldo's home to tell him such great news. There they had a party to celebrate C. Ronaldo's victory. The results: 1. Ronaldo (Manchester United) 2. Lionel Messi (Barcelona) 3. Fernando Torres (Liverpool) 4. Iker Casillas (Real Madrid) 5. Xavi (Barcelona) 6. Andrei Arshavin (Zenit St. Petersburg) 7. David Villa (Valencia) 8. Kaka (AC Milan) 9. Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Inter Milan) 10. Steven Gerrard (Liverpool) Based on their performances in last year, C.Ronaldo deserves this award. He helped Man. United win the league champion and UEFA Champion in last season. Meanwhile, he was the best scorer in English League and UEFA Championships. He is the second player of the Man. United after Gorge Bestas well as the third Portuguese after Eusébio and Figo to win this award . France Football editors came to C. Ronaldo's home to congratulate him.  |

| Hi Kevin, yes Cristiano is a friend as is Rio Ferdinand and Edwin Van Der Sar. As for my team we are struggling of late with a few draws we, we are away at Millwall this week which is about 20 minutes on the train from where I live so I will be going to the game. Alan |

| Hi Kevin, yes you could be right, I noticed Wayne Rooney has several entries, what I found strange was Rio Ferdinand actually requested me as a friend, he could have seen that I was listed as a fan of his and Man Utd, anyway the more friends the better, I have quite a few Chinese friends on there too, it's all good fun but don't put too much information on there though, I used to have my Date of Birth & Phone No but I have removed it now. | GUESTNINO | I am from Spain and I wanted a Spaniard to win this so bad. I know that Casillas is top goalie of the year and that Villa and Torres are two of the top forwards this year, but even as great of a midfield that Spain has (iniesta, xavi, xabi, cesc, senna, silva) none are at the level of this magical player Cristiano. COME PLAY FOR REAL!!! jeje. |
