GUESTSAMIAM Yes eat a slice of bread slowly and use very little water if possible. Lemon juice does disolve bone but slowly. As long as you are breathing your alright. You may think you still have the bone but after the bread it is most likely a scratch that feels just like the bone. I know.... If you are still concerned a hospital emergency room will scope your throat. It may take days for scratch to go away.

GUESTGRETCH Your stomach naturally contains a diluted form of hydrochloric acid, which is WAY stronger than vinegar...and, swallowing a spoon or two of apple cider vinegar can actually HELP a person when they have indigestion, by adding acid to the stomach to prevent it from overproducing MORE. (Using an antacid only makes it WORSE!) This particular type of vinegar is also supposed to assist in weight-loss when a teaspoonful is taken before each meal.

I just used apple cider vinegar and some pieces of dry bread to dislodge a SUPER TINY hair-like trout bone (you know the kind), which I got stuck in my throat during dinner last night. It was probably only a half or a third-inch long. I first drank some vinegar, which had the noticeable effect of somewhat "dissolving" the bone, and then ate the bread to make SURE it went down safely (now, it shouldn't perforate the stomach or intestines). The large amount of vinegar made me feel the need to vomit, which also seems to have had the possible added-bonus of getting rid of the bone...I'll be able to tell for SURE later, when the current scratchiness in my throat (from the vinegar and stomach acid) goes away.

It feels as if the bone is FINALLY gone, now.

GUEST11672 Eat bread! Don't chew too much. Chew it enough so that you can swallow it. Since the bread isn't really chewed it will force the fish bone down.
