Haha, are you from abroad? I am a Chinese and my parents told me that I wll be smarter if I eat as many fishes as I can. But it turns out that I don't become smarter.

Well, fish is better than pork or other cattle meat. Fish contains less fat but more proteins.

Why not see a doctor? It might hurt your throat if it stays there for long.

In this part of the world, most of us would swallow a large enough (not to choke!) bolus of dry (not excessively chewed) bread, and this acts as a vehicle to trap the stuck bone, and push it into the stomach. However, if unsuccessful, medical attention, once available, is sought, and the stuck fish bone (or whatever foreign body might be,) is removed by an Ear, Nose and Throat Doctor in the Emergency Room of the local Hospital.

You can try Banana. but before you do,mash it up properly.Banana is soft and viscous which will grab the fish bone and gently drag it to stomach.

The best thing is that you should be very careful when you eat fish. Once the fish bone stuck in your throat, you should see a doctor and see what he/she can do about it. Kids in this situation should be sent to hospital immediately.

i got stuck a fish bone in my throat yesterday. although it was not so painful but gave pain when swallowed even water. i went to ENT specialist doctor. He immediately carried endoscopy of my throat and located the stuck fish fat bone. He pulled it out with forceps very comfortably. followed by some medicines for 4-5 days. i was relieved of trouble. he told if ignored, it could lead to puss formation and then surgey of throat only was the remedy. my advice is not to ignore fish bone stuck, not to take deshi cure advice but immediately run to ENT doctor. bear in mind "Sooner the better".
