| Dear Guest Ah Man I used MAS many a time before the advent of AirAsia, from then onwards I used AirAsia all the time, except when the price difference is less than RM100 then I would take MAS, because the latter offers meals on board. Even domestic fares, with its Firefly as a subsidiary, the price is still steeper than offered by AirAsia. If you really look how AirAsia operates then you will understand more why the price is cheaper than our national carrier, MAS and the end users (the clients/passengers) have to absorb the high administrative cost.
