Many people think that the chimp refers to Obama, the newly-selected president of the USA and called on people to resisit New York Post though it has already made a public apology. What do you think of this cartoon?

Many people think that the chimp refers to Obama, the newly-selected president of the USA and called on people to resisit New York Post though it has already made a public apology.

The chimp does not represent Obama. Unless you're in the U.S. you probably haven't heard but there was a lady whose chimpanzee went wild and ripped a womans face off and the cops had to shoot it. It made national news. What is IS signifying is that the stimulus bill is stupid and could have been written by a monkey. The stimulus bill was mainly authored by Rep. David Obey and not Obama.

All you had to do was do a Google search for "stimulus author".

In other way, it can be considered as Mr. President is facing a lot opposition from a particular section of the society because of his new thoughts and praise worthy deed.
