These well-trained gunmen sprayed the Sri Lankan bus with bullets and fired a rocket and a grenade as it traveled to a match against Pakistan in Lahore. In the attack, six polices were killed and seven players were wounded. The media regards it as a terrorist attack. However, no one claims to be responsible for this attack. Don't be overjoyed with suspects being detained; Pakistan government and the authorities, from intelligence branch to army and police are laden with terrorist-sympathizers. That means they will not go all out to crack down on terror organizations and its communities within Pakistan - they are all moslems.

This terrorist attack in Lahore on Sri Lanka cricket team is hardly surprising when one consider Pakistan as the world's largest country breeding religious terrorists and fanatics.

China is well administered and governed with the right priorities in building up a progressive nation but Pakistan is a 3rd world land of lawlessness.

Terrorist activities and killings in Pakistan will continue simply because the government and armed forces and the people are only half-committed to eliminate these religious extremists.

They should do more to prevent it. Well said, Dave. It is said that these terrorists once intended to kidnap Sri Lanka cricket team but failed eventually. The police also found a great quantity of arms and ammunition. These terrorists were well-prepared. Besides, the police said that this attack was very similar to last year's attack happened in Mumbai.
