| GUESTTODDTIA... | Hi. You don't need a visa debit from BOC to use online shopping. I have a regular Union Pay debit card with online banking activated which allows me to then shop on TaoBao (through AliPay), buy tickets on trains online, any internet purchases which accept UnionPay. It's easy to set up - you have a USB stick or a token which generates a password, and another number is sent to your phone as security. But otherwise, it's easy. I use it to buy from any online shop in China. |
