Seeing that it currently takes around 1.5 hours to get out of immigration and baggage claim, and about 1-1.5 hours to get to town (depending on your choice of transport and traffic conditions), I think you should be able to catch the 1330 departure from Shanghai main long-distance bus station at 1666 Zhongxing Lu (客运总站: 中兴路1666号) to Huangyan.

Geez, how do we know what's your definition of "best" and how much money you can afford to spend? And please do not type in all caps. Yelling at people isn't going to make anyone any more keen to help you!

Going by taxi is not realistic. It's pretty far, drivers might not be familiar with where they're going out of Shanghai, they might not be willing to do so, and it would be pretty expensive!

From where in Hong Kong? Hong Kong airport, Hong Kong island, or Kowloon? No ferries from Hong Kong to downtown Guangzhou. You either take train or bus.

Buy it at the long-distance bus station, of course. When are you travelling? Buses leave at 0740, 1100 and 1330. I think those take around 6 hours to get there.
