42 news cases of swine flu cases were confirmed in the 24 hours ending 18:00 Saturday and the total has reached to 1002. Fujian Province reported three new cases, Tianjin Municipality and the provinces of Jiangsu, Shandong and Hainan each had one, Beijing confirmed 13, Guangdong reported 15, Shanghai confirmed seven. The situation of swine flu is aggravating in Chinese mainland but people are seemingly paying inadequate attention to the swine flu. Compared with the attention given to SARS, less attention had been paid to swine flu by the average people.
