The 60th Anniversary of the Founding of the P.R.C will be forthcoming. The nationwide celebration is to be held. Surly, the Military Parade at the Tian'anmen Square is the most expected event. Do you know how ordinary Chinese celebrate their motherland's 60th birthday? Have a look! People used red lanterns to put up a model Tian'an Rostrum at the Martyrs Memorial Park in Changsha city, capital of central China's Hunan Province.

The design is made of bottle cap. A old man from Yunfen of Shanxi Province made it.

I would like to hear how you personally, living in China, will celebrate this anniversary? I just read an article written by a journalist living in Beijing who states that the celebrations in Beijing will be so severely restricted to party members that the general public won't be able to take part or see the festivities first-hand.
