The upcoming China’s military parade is under the international spotlight. It will be the biggest-ever military parade in the history of P.R.C. Military parade, in ultimate purpose, is to display a nation’military power and the morale of its army. It is reported that China will display its most advanced equipment and cutting-edge weaponry. The previews and and rehearsals of the military parade has shown that Beijing intend to deliver a potent message to western powers and others nto to underestimate its demination to defend its national interests at home and abroad. Tanks, armored personnel carriers and rocket launchers have been on show in the rehearsal. Since the last military parade in 1999, much of China’s weaponry has been updated. In the past decade, China’s defense budget has seen an annual double-digit percentage increases. The upgraded intercontinental DF-31 nuclear missile is capable of striking Washington from the military base in China. The DH-long-range cruise missies, YJ-83 anti-ship missiles, the advanced short-range DF-11 and DF-15 missiles are enough to deter any navies from approaching Chinese’s naval territories. The cutting-edge aircraft J-10 jet fighters didn’t appare in the rehearsal but it is highly expected to fly over Tian’anmen Square on October 1st, when the formal military parade will be performed to mark the 60th Anniversary of the Founding of P.R.C.
