Stay at night near to bus stop Wuxi and next morning to Yongkang. Main problem in Chinese Bus journey is ticket written in Chinese. May be difficult for you where to go with the ticket. How you read ticket ?

Note that the place is called Nantong, not Nontang.
Most of the Shanghai -- Nantong buses leave from Shanghai main long-distance bus station but that area is currently under construction so stay clear of it as far as possible. Instead go to Shanghai South long-distance bus station by airport shuttle no.7 (earliest departure from Pudong airport at 0750) or taxi, departures to Nantong (60 RMB) at 0624, 0724, 0840, 0940, 1040, 1150, 1300, 1400, 1505, 1610, 1655 and 1833.
Similarly for Shanghai -- Yongkang, buses leave from Shanghai South long-distance bus station at 0924 (139 RMB), 1104 (139 RMB), 1314 (139 RMB), 1544 (126 RMB) and 1835 (126 RMB).
For Nantong -- Yongkang there's a sleeper bus every other day at 1305, fare is 117 RMB.
