Hi,

My husband and I are planning a return trip to Hong Kong in March and would like to then travel from Hong Kong to Singapore. Is there a train you can catch so that we can see the countryside?

If I don't mistake your meaning, you wanna go from HK to Singapore by train? It is weird....

You still have the option of flying to Bangkok, and from Bangkok take a train to Singapore.

AFAIK, no direct train route between Hong Kong and Singapore. From the north you could do Hong Kong -- Guangzhou, Guangzhou -- Nanning then Nanning -- Hanoi, Hanoi -- Ho Chi Minh City. For the south you could do Bangkok -- Singapore. In between you'd probably have to try buses and such to supplement.
