It depends on your flight whether it has a transit or not. If direct flight I think it's probably 14 hours.
2. The cost of visa subject to individual nations, you can inquire at the Chinese consulate in Ghana.
3. Four things are needed to apply for a visa: i) valid passport (expiry date not less than 6 months), ii) recent photo, iii) application form, and iv) payment/money.
4. For business visa probably you need a letter of invitation, so the beswt thing is apply gor a tourist visa.
5. The weather in GZ changes all the time, for example last week was around 22 Celsius but today is around 14 Celsius.

A single entry one costs 50 USD. Normally, it takes four days to deal with your application. If you plan to use rush service (one or two days) or express service (three days), you need to pay extra 40 USD or 25 USD. The required documents are:

Original Visa Notice issued by an authorized unit in China (Local Government in China) or original invitation letter from company in China.

Flight and hotel itinerary
Photocopy and original of business registration certificate and tax clearance or IRS.
Introductory letter from company
Photocopy and original passport valid for more than six (6) months and must have at least two (2) pages for visa purposes.
Proof of economic guarantee (such as personal bank account statement or pay slips from employer current for at least four months) both original and photocopy.
Completed visa application form with one white background passport size picture.

You shouldn't apply for a L type and engage business matters when you are in China. Once you were caught, you would have been fined or detained. It may affect your future applications for Chinese visa.
