Yucks, I'm so totally not a fan of that 3 Gorges cruise. You could do much better things with your time. If you want my full trip report and candid photos, email me at yahoo.com|ellyse99 -- put "TravelChinaGuide" and your own username (g Lawcch) in the subject line.

How ostentatiously critical and needlessly pedantic! I know almost nothing about China but even a novice could have guessed that Lawrence was referring to Chonqing. Perhaps Lawrence would be wiser seeking advice from someone more intuitive and less pretentious.

Look, I could guess, but it's better to clarify. This was 2 letters substitued for one and the answer isn't totally obvious!

And since it's obvious that you were more intuitive, then why do I see no helpful answer from you on this question?

"Not totally obvious"? You have to be joking! Regardless, intuition has nothing to do with knowledge. In fact they are almsot opposites. I gave no advice because I have no Knowledge of the subject matter. However when advice is requested on "tour Sichuan, Yunnan and GongQing" (obviously three locations) then "WHAT'S Gongqing" is neither intuitive nor knowledgable.

... I needed the poster to clarify that the 3rd location (yes, I know it's a location!) is really Chongqing.
