Guangzhou subway says NO to people with no pants!
Jan 19, 2010 02:49
On Jan 17, some young guys had their “No Pants Subway Ride” in Guangzhou to advocate low-carbon lifestyle and welcome 2010 Asian Games. They drew much attention and were reported by the media.

Actually, No Pants Subway Ride was not created by them. In the US, there is a special day called “No Pants Day”. On this special day, people wear no pants to take subway. So far, No Pants Day has been held nine years.

At the beginning of this year, some young guys brought this into China. But it seems that the public don’t accept this. A mom who took the subway with her daughter together made a complaint to the subway operator when she saw these guys taking off their pants in front of them. She thought it was disgusting to take off the pants and expose your thighs in public.

The subway operator also affirmed its position that they will not let such an incident happen again. Once they notice this, they will definitely stop them.

Oh my god!How could she take off her trousers on the subway? No wonder that lady made a call to complain about her. She is a Chinese. Didn’t she understand that many guys were not as open as her?

There are good customs that we can learn and take both from the East and the West. While the old generation in the East treads with caution, but the youngsters think it is good to imitate everything from the West, hook line and sinkers.

You can imitate New York people. You can express your ideas. But it is no good to take off pants in public. Remember that you are a girl and please show your respect to other passengers as well as yourself.
