Marriage Registration in China!

what if one pakistani guy and one chinese girl got marriage in tanzania,Africa. and they have got marriage certificate from ministry of foreign affairs of tanzania and even got attestation from both of countries embassy i.e. pakistan as well as china.
now kindly tell me, im that pakistani guy..and now im in china in hohhot,inner mongolia.
do u know what is going on with me..im sick completely mentally..
because i reach here then went for registration of my arrival in police station.they said no need of registration at all .. then i also went for administration department in hohhot for marriage registration..they even refused..they said no need..bcoz ur having this foreign affairs certificate.
now im confused..what to do,...how to apply for long term visa..even im worry they would tell me any day that im illegal bcoz no registration paper.:( plz help me..

how to do???for long term visa as well as marriage registration;...or no need for registration of marriage ,,just change my wife passport marital status or something>??then apply for long term visa?

you can ask her to send you visiting visa to china. After coming to china you can marry here and also for legal paper work you have to find your unmarried certificate and submit to chinese embassy in Pakistan to register your marriage in Pakistan also .. GUESTJACKYIP83 my fiancé born in UK, and she is coming to China in May with her Chinese tourism visa. We are considering to register in China and I am a Chinese. would you able to tell me what documents she has to prepare and authenticate? and how to get them done?

i am in a different situation. i was born in the united states, and have a u.s. passsport. however, my family moved to canada, and i have been living here since i was 1 year old. i have my permanent resident card, of course. my problem is, i am going to china in a few days to marry a lady i've gotten to know the past year through e-mail, qq, and common friends. she told me about this declaration of being single, and how i needed to get it. i thought i just had to go to a notary, but today the notary says it is about a 3 week process. can i go to either a u.s. or canadian embassy in shenyang and swear a oath that i am single? i have never married, and have no childrend....totally singe and really wanting to get married! thanks for your help. joe walters

I was married in China 4 months ago. Now I am waiting for immigration so we can live together in the USA. It was a very long process to get the paperwork to get married in China. The single paperwork needed is not available in the usa. I had to send for my divorce papers. Have that notorized copy notorized by the Secretary of the state I am living in. Send that paperwork to the Chinese Consulate in Washington DC . Go to Guangzhou to the US Consolete and get my single paperwork. Go to Zhenjiang where my wife lived and get the paperwork translated. Go to the register office and finally got our books. We exchanged rings at a dinner with her family. My wife does not speak any english so I just went along with everything. It is best to search the internet. Getting the single paperwork required in China was the most difficult thing. I used a company online to send my paperwork to the Chinese Consulate. I have to say I am very happily married. I am glad. Very expensive and a lot more expense to go to get her here. She is wonderful.

This is correct. I also Sent the copy to the Secretary of the United States and to the Chinese embassy in Washington (depends on where you live.) I got my single certificate at the US Consulate in Guangzhou. Very complicated to get that piece of paper.
