Hello, 8 of us ladies will be flying into Macau, then take a ferry to Hongkong (2 nights) then by MTR to Shenzhen (2 nights) and proceed to Macau.
My questions are:
1. How to go to Macau from Shenzhen?
2. If by ferry, will it be from Shekou port to Macau ferry terminal?
3. How much is fare and how to get to the port from Days Inn hotel in SZ?
4. How long is the journey?
5. If by bus, where to board the bus, how much is fare and how long the journey? Where will the bus drop us in Macau?
6. Where will be the border controls if by bus or ferry?

Would appreciate feedback from the experts in this forum. Thanks.

If you read the past responses and posts, you will get more info. Ground transport has only three opyions, taxi/private car, bus and ferry. As you will be staying at Days Inn SZ, then you need either go to Shekou to take ferry or to Luohu station to take bus. Ferry cost around RMB170 to Macau that takes around one hour or so while bus only stops in Gongbei that costs around RMB80-100 about 2-2.5 hr journey.

1) Ferry would be the most direct and logical mode of transport.
2) Yes: http://www.turbojetseaexpress.com/eng/schedule/prd_4.html
