China is hotter than Hades in the summer; you just need to dress for that; pace yourself; and nap in the afternoon until it cools. I'm missing China, it has been 2 years since I last visited. I'd like to see the family and then travel in Yunnan province and maybe into Tibet.

Haha, it is very true. It is hotter than before this year. I couldn't bear it. Many sources claim that people have died due to the extreme weather. The weather will get hotter and hotter in the future. To avoid the heat, I'd like to go some mountain areas.

GUEST12571 ah,is Guilin .The charm and beauty of Guilin can't be expressed in any euphuistic words. Ornamented by green mountains, crystal clear waters, unique caves, grotesque stones and blooming flowers, Guilin seems to be created by god with his super power. Take the yangshuo travel, you will enjoy the fresh feeling, which just likes walking in a Chinese ink landscape painting.

It’s quite hot in China these days but it’s an amazing place to visit. Beijing in my opinion would be the best option to visit the ancient culture and Tibet is the best for its natural beauty.
Mountain Emei is well known summer destination in China because of its pleasant weather, natural beauty and the influence of Buddhist culture. Guiyang is another perfect destination in China to escape summer heat.

I prefer places with mountains and rivers, nature parks and scenic areas, not exactly the north or south of China.

GUEST56228 I would like to visit Wudang Shan and Emei Shan. Is it worthwhile to visit them? How long will it take to visit each of them? I have been to Huang Shan.
