Sportaccord Combat Games 2010 opened in Beijing yesterday

Yesterday, the massive Sportaccord Combat Games 2010 kicked off in Beijing. Athletes from more than 100 countries will take part in the martial arts gala. The Chinese martial arts style of Wushu, Japanese sumo, and Muay Thai will be included in the 13 programs to be showcased. The games will end on September 4.

At the opening ceremony, Jackie Chan performed Tian Xing Jian, the theme song of the Games. Jet Li, another movie superstar also appeared. He was the ambassador of this gala.

Jet Li is good. He suggests that Taiji should join the Olympics. I am also hoping that Taiji or Chinese Kungfu can become part of the Olympics. But it is very hard.

It is not fair to other countries if Taichi is included in the Olympics. Taichi originated in China. It is possible that China will prevail very easily.
