Compared with the previous regulations, some changes have been made: 1.The children between 1.2 and 1.5 meters can enjoy half-priced train tickets. According to the previous regulations, the children between 1.1 and 1.4 can buy half-priced train tickets. 2.The passengers who miss the regular trains will have their tickets invalidated and not be allowed to take other trains within a two-hour period. But the railway stations can make exceptions for those who miss their regular trains because of illness or injuries. On the other hand, those with Multi-Unit Trains (G and D trains) can switch to other trains within two hours after their original train has left. And those who take through trains will have their tickets invalidated once they get off the trains halfway. If they get off due to illness or injuries, the passengers can have their tickets refunded. 3.Passengers who take G or D trains can only bring luggage whose size limit is below 130 cm and less than 20 kilograms. Regarding of the No.2 issue, the public strongly criticize it because it is unfair. Passengers will have their tickets invalidated if they arrive late. But the passengers get nothing when the train arrives late.

BBQQ Points: Join Date: Feb 7, 2007 Status: Offline	Jimmyb, the Ministry of Railways has clarified that its purpose is to curb speculative selling of train tickets. The passengers also can get their train tickets endorsed to take other trains within two hours after the target train leaves as long as they convince the staff with reasonable reasons. But what are reasonable reasons?
