no idea whether I'll agree with that though. Well, at least I never hear people saying haoku, but just cool. I think that would be fine, just bit strange...

The funniest sign I saw in Hong Kong, was 'No Kicking of Balls' albeit immature, they could have worded it a little differently if they did not want ball sports played on the beach. If I recall right, that sign is in the Gold Coast beach.

GUESTPETRUS I travelled thru southern China right to Beihei - without a word of Chinese! Had a great time,& no difficulty communicating thru sign,a little English from some people & a lotof good humour! All thats needed is to respect local values & be open to new experiences.
