If you feel cold in winter, you can prepare Ginger Milk Curd to expel the coldness. It is very easy to prepare.

All you need is ginger, fresh milk (150 ml), white sugar (20 grams) and a pad of gauze.

Process:
1.peel ginger and cut it into small pieces.
2.put ginger pieces on the gauze and squeeze ginger juice into a bowl.
3.Pour fresh milk in a milk cooker, boil it until you see bulbs. Do not forget to stir milk when boiling.
4.Add white sugar into the cooker and stir for 20-30 seconds. Make sure that white sugar has melt.
5.Stir ginger juice and then pour boiled milk into the bowl. Wait for 3-4 minutes and then put a tablespoon in the bowl. If the tablespoon doesn’t immerse into the bowl, ginger milk curd is done.

Well, in traditional Chinese we say there are different kind of flu or cold. If it's caused by wind-coat / chills, then Jinger & milk would do good for it. But if it's because of different hot (in the way TCM says), then to have this would make your cold worse...

Yes, Herbeat. If you are infected with some viruses, western medicine is more effective.

Xiaoxiao, I don't think I'm with you at all... To me, western medicine might be effective but the side affects are effective too. I don't want to donate my kidney, liver or any part of body to the side affects... So most of the time I just trust TCM
