Gelivable and ungelivable?

guest0913 I’ve been studying Chinese for a while. When I read news online or in newspaper, I’ve noticed this word is quite popular, that is, “给力”. I tried to understand what it meant but still didn’t figure out its meaning.

PS: Some Chinese people even translate it into English: 给力(gelivable) and 不给力((ungelivable). I do not think they are English words. They just made up these two words.

If you know what “给力” and “不给力” mean, please tell us.

给力 gelivable means being helpful, funcational,having face.
不给力 ungelivable menas something someone or so result is out of expecting those two words was starting become popular and useful suring the time of 2010 worldcup

In China, there is a woman called Tiramisu, a very strong woman.
why we say gelivable? ”给力" means very powerful。 when i first time to hear this woman speaks french, i was shocked over.
so we say this woman's french is very gelivable.

so we say...hi fat girl why you're singing so ingelivable?!

Geilivable just means AWESOME like in English
And you know "niubility"? Also means awesome.
Yes, we made them up. They are interesting, ya know.
