Every year, the Oscar gives us many surprises. Before 2011 Oscar was unveiled, many people believed that the Social Network would win the Best motion picture prize. Actually, the King’s Speech has 10 nominations and the Social Network, 8 nominations.
But the winner of Best motion picture at 2011 Oscar is the King’s Speech. Besides, it also helps Collin Firth win the best actor prize. Its director Tom Hooper won the best director prize and David Seidler won the best original screenplay.

The Social Network wins 3 prizes: best adapted screenplay, best soundtrack and best film editing.

I almost forgot that the Inception also won 4 Oscars.

The King’s Speech VS the Social Network, which do you think is better? Why can the King’s Speech win the best motion picture of 2011 Oscar?

I am not sure if China will bring the King’s Speech in. If so, I’d like to go to the cinema to watch it.
