| Voting without time limit Note: Guest voter(s) are not displayed here. Experts warn that the country’s 1.3 billion population is becoming dangerously unbalanced. China has few adults of working age but too many of elders. Population Ageing has become a serious issue. Officials concern that ending one-child population could lead to a huge population rise. That’s why China adopted one-child policy since 1979. According to what I know (maybe it is not right), many other countries have the same problem, Negative Population Growth. Young couples do not want to have children even the governments encourage them to do so. Why don’t they want to have children? In your view, should China introduce a two-child policy? |

| Kevin, some young couples in China also do not want to have children too. My friends alway say to me that they just want to have one kid because they can not burden to raise two. |

A survey has shown that it costs about RMB490,000 to raise a child on average. That's more than 20 years' of my current income. So I plan to have only one whether the policy will change or not. I'm poor |

| The one-child policy has its pros and cons. It has contributed a lot to control China's population. If time is mature, a two-child policy can be implemented too. Unbalanced population is no good for China's future development. |
