The news said that the project would last around 4 years. According to the officials, the project is to upgrade the underground utilities. That includes water and sewer lines, electrical conduits, pipes for chilled and hot water and steam heat systems, and storm sewers. Heating, air conditioning and fire alarm systems are being replaced. Some systems are getting backups. But why does it take four years? Thus, it is suspected that a secret underground lair is being built under the White House. What is it used for? A secret and safe place for the president to stay when the “Doomsday” comes, for instance, the nuclear attack.
