![]() | Beijing-Tianjin high speed train tickets online sales have started since 05:00 June 12. Passengers who plan to take Beijing-Tianjin high speed trains can buy the tickets on www.12306.cn. Passengers need to register as members on www.12306.cn and then buy the tickets with their valid credentials including ID cards (for Chinese citizens), mainland travel permits for Hong Kong and Macao residents, entry permits of Taiwan residents to the mainland and passports. To pay for the tickets, passengers can use bank cards of ICBC, ABC, BOC and CMB. And cards with “UnionPay (银联)" are also accepted. Please note that your cards online payment function must be activated. Passengers who buy the tickets with their ID cards can board their train directly. Those passengers who use other kinds of credentials need to go to the railway station to get their tickets and then board the train with the tickets. Remember that you will get your order number after you buy the tickets online successfully and please keep your order number safe because you need it to get your tickets at the railway station. The last thing: the Beijing-Tianjin High Speed Train ticket online sales service is available from 05:00 to 24:00 everyday. Passengers need to buy the tickets at least 2 hours in advance. Those who want to change or cancel their tickets also need to do it 2 hours in advance. The train ticket online sales service will be also adopted on Beijing-Shanghai High Speed Trains at the end of this month.
