Fashion is to copy celebrities’ styles?

guestawoman Kate Middleton, the newly wedded Duchess of Cambridge, may consider of being spokeswomen for some British brands if she is really in fashion. I do not know when she officially met Obamas but I did remember her clothes on that day. She wore a £175 camel coloured panelled dress. Very charming! After seeing the photography, crazy shoppers battled to get their hands on the same dress.

Why? They think copying celebrities’ styles is the trend and they love to dress themselves like the Duchess of Cambridge.

What is the real fashion? Just keep copying celebrities’ styles?

Well, I think, most of the people nowadays are like that. They imitate what famous people do or even wear, because they assume that they will be like them once they have done that.

For me, real fashion is being your own self without imitating somebody else.

To some degree, it is true. Otherwise, the cloth makers won't spend a lot of money inviting BIG STARS to advertise for them.

What is trend? Just look at your colleagues. If they all wear shorts and high-heel sandals, you will get the info "shorts and high-heel sandals are popular".

Celebrities are always in the spotlight, from movie premiers and awards shows, to their weekend shopping sprees in far away lands. Eyes are always on famous people, and their appearances are talked about more than their performances. A celebrity can make or break a fashion trend, and what a celebrity wears is what their fans will wear.

Think back to the Michael Jackson days. How many sparkly white gloves did you see? How about shiny red jackets with a bunch of zippers? Can you think of other trends that celebrities wore, only to find their fans obsessing about those same designs? Some celebrity trends were great, others might have been a little strange, but one this is clear, fans will copy celebrity fashion trends.

Fans will copy their favorite celebrity’s fashion style, especially the ones that appear in popular magazines. There are several magazines that are geared towards fashion, but even non-fashion magazines have ads for clothing worn by famous people. The fact is, marketing gurus know that fans copy celebrity fashion trends, making celebrity endorsements one of the most successful ways to promote a product.

More proof that fans are always looking at what a celebrity wears is the popularity of celebrity gossip television shows. In these shows, a group of celebrities gossip about their peers’ wardrobes. From head to toe, a celebrity is nit-picked and each panel member will talk about what they do or do not like about the outfit. These are especially popular during red carpet events and awards shows. The gowns and suits worn by movie stars and musicians are commented on, as well as hair, makeup, shoes and jewelry. These same celebrities’ pictures will appear in fashion magazines, on the internet, and even on other TV shows. They may appear several times because the style is gorgeous or gross. Either way, a celebrity’s style is always in the spotlight and fans will always copy celebrity fashion trends

Fashion is to copy celebrities’ styles?

To some extent, it is. The celebrities have their own designers and those people are usually fashion leaders. Ordinary people who are interested in fashion just imitate those celebrities to catch up with the latest fashion style.

Now you see how to catch up with the fashion.

GUEST56134 celebs are used as signs of the changes in style/fashion as a whole. and an obvious point of reference for the ordinary public to pick from. musicians in particular represent the genres they perform in their clothes, so cultural style shifts are evoked through famous figures
