| GUEST17212 | It sounds like the girl has very strong ties to her homeland not that she is greedy but a man there in china would be more well suited. traveling cost less she could eat only chinese food she wouldn't have a choice really. because the family could move in if need be the bride price would be lower. and with the shortage of women a bride price being customary he would be better prepared owning a house before marriage and not making a wife work past having a child is reasonable in some cultures and not others. cultural differnces will make big deal in lots of everyday life choices |

I might have an advantage over you as I am Australian chinese and I can speak Mandarin and understand the customs to a degree. I hope you will find your true love oneday, whether she is from China or elsewhere. |
